Crafts demonstrations

Here the emphasis is on communicating the technology available to our ancestors when creating metal implements, such as jewellery of tools. Bronze casting is explained and demonstrated in great detail in theory and practice. A whole set of reconstructed artefacts complements the performance, in such a way that the tools can actually be given a try. Since museums usually discourage their visitors to touch anything, this a good way of getting to grips with prehistoric archaeology.
